ERC Grants
ERC grants provide young and promising researchers with the opportunity to prove their worth as innovative and original scholars.
The yearly call for proposals is directed toward researchers from all over the world who already can show a distinctive record as innovative scholars.
An ERC grant goes toward creating or consolidating a research team at a university in the EU or an associated country. Outstanding projects receive funds of up to 2 million Euro (Starting Grant) or 2.75 million Euro (Consolidator Grant) and last for up to five years.
ERC Starting Grant

- Call for proposal
ERC Consolidator Grant

- Call for proposal
ERC grants are awarded by the European Research Council (ERC) in its Seventh Framework Programme (FP7 Ideas).
