Starting a career with a tailor-made research team

Every year, the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) issues a call for proposals for SNSF Professorships. This funding enables researchers to build their own team and work toward realizing an independent research project.

The SNSF Professorships are designed for scholars with a PhD and several years of experience at research institutes in Switzerland and abroad. The funding lasts four years and may be extended to up to two years.
