Sinergia

Sinergia is a funding instrument of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) that focuses on cultivating collaborative projects consisting of three to four research teams.

The program is geared towards established researchers and research teams working within one discipline as well as for interdisciplinary projects.

Research groups may be based at various universities or research centres in Switzerland. One of the research groups may be outside Switzerland if the expertise is required and no other group in the country can supply this at a sufficiently high level.

University's institutional statement

The SNSF expects the University of Zurich to comment on Sinergia grant applications submitted by UZH members.

Therefore, each UZH member who is the main applicant or another applicant of a Sinergia grant application is asked to submit the following form to the office Funding for Individuals and Projects by 15 January:

Confirmation of general conditions and infrastructure

The form has to be signed by the official head of the institute, seminar or clinic. It can be submitted by regular mail or by e-mail (support@forschung.uzh.ch).
